Nordic is the Class 4 option in this comparison. A Class 4 rating is not a promise that a roof cannot suffer hail damage. IKO’s limited warranty excludes hail damage.

Keep the coverage specific
IKO lists 15-year Iron Clad protection against manufacturing defects for its Performance products. Extended protection has separate contractor-eligibility and registration requirements. Ask for the exact warranty in your proposal; extended coverage is not automatic. The written terms control coverage.

Request Dynasty and Nordic estimates with the same decking, flashing, ventilation and cleanup scope. That lets you see the shingle upgrade cost without confusing it with different work. Choose the appearance you prefer, then compare the impact classification and named coverage.
