Compare the appearance and selection questions for TAMKO Heritage architectural shingles and Elite Glass-Seal three-tab shingles.

TAMKO Heritage and Elite Glass-Seal are different starting points for an asphalt-shingle roof. Compare the look, written coverage and complete installed scope before choosing on bundle price alone.
Appearance is the easiest difference to see
| Decision | Heritage | Elite Glass-Seal |
|---|---|---|
| Style | Laminated architectural appearance with dimensional variation | Traditional three-tab appearance with a more regular pattern |
| Product category | Architectural asphalt shingle | Three-tab asphalt shingle |
| Standard headline warranty | Limited lifetime, subject to owner and other terms | 25-year limited warranty |
| Estimate comparison | Confirm complete system, deck and flashing scope | Confirm the same scope so the price comparison is fair |

When to compare other TAMKO lines
If impact classification is a priority, compare the documented ratings for Titan XT, StormFighter FLEX and HailGuard. Do not assign a hail rating to Heritage or Elite Glass-Seal just because another TAMKO product carries one.

Repairing an existing three-tab roof
Ask whether a compatible repair product is available and whether surrounding shingles can be repaired without additional damage. A similar color name does not guarantee a match to an aged roof. Wider deterioration may change the repair-versus-replacement discussion.
Put the whole roof on the proposal
Exact shingle and color, subject to local availability.
Removal, deck inspection and allowance for concealed repairs.
Underlayment, starter, flashing, penetrations and ridge details.
Ventilation plan and named written warranties.
