Wind protection starts at the seal
DuraGrip is the adhesive that helps bond a shingle to the course below it. Correct installation and the specified roof accessories are part of the picture.
Heat activates the adhesive after installation. The resulting seal helps resist wind uplift and wind-driven rain at the leading edge.

What WindProven means

| Coverage | 15-year limited wind warranty; no maximum wind-speed limit |
No maximum wind-speed limit describes the eligible warranty. It does not mean a roof cannot suffer storm damage. Installation, product combinations and coverage restrictions still apply.
