Deck Repairs and a New Roof in Floresville
July 2026
Six photos show the older roof, exposed decking, a pipe-area deck patch, valley underlayment and the finished Floresville shingle roof.
Floresville, Texas

This Floresville roof replacement included work beneath the shingles as well as the finished roof surface. Six photographs show the older roof, exposed decking, a deck patch around a pipe, the prepared underlayment and the completed shingles.
With the roof opened, the work photos show a damaged area in the deck and a separate view of new OSB fitted around a pipe penetration. These close-ups show why decking conditions need to be checked during a replacement.
The preparation photo shows GAF FeltBuster underlayment across the roof planes and StormGuard-marked material along the valley. The project scope also lists pipe boots, a chimney saddle and ridge ventilation.
The finished aerial view shows the new architectural shingles across the front gables, hips and chimney area. A closer roof-level view shows the completed ridge and hip caps. The replacement was completed in July 2026.
When we prepare a replacement estimate, we explain the roof system and how decking repairs will be handled if damaged wood is uncovered.
